Attitude of 7 – the holier-than-thou entitled god complex. Meh! These people are in touch with the other side, see things and can be rather elegantly reserved…. obviously, there are exceptions to everything!

Third number of 3, which denotes intellect and all things literary. Again, in Vedic numerology, there is nothing positive about any number. In other words, this is just another Jamaican skekkle who like fe chat too much. And yes, they are more interested in the sound of their voices and creating a stir than they are possessed of truly stellar intellect.

Most of all, 9 is the soul number – where this one has been and what it is here to divest itself of. All 9s are innate bigots and the biggest snobs and defenders of the flame – whatever they deem that to be.

As ever, the need to get a rise with the latest shocking fabulist fare and soar above the fray, telling any lie in order to stay relevant and sell more pulpable fare – so that she can keep buying strands that readily scream Poundand Duchess, along comes the specious allegation, spoken as though the gospel truth of course, that HRH Princess Anne, Princess Royal was the one to have expressed concerns about the Sussexes’ melanin-blessed offspring. Like HRH Prince Harry, Anne has a 6 in her numbers which means, she is fiercely loyal and not given to gossip. More than that, Princess Anne is a 4 and such persons do not gladly suffer fools nor would they take kindly to someone implicating them in a lie. With that 4, it is very likely in the right circumstance, HRH Princess Anne would readily hunt down our runaway Jamaican skekkle turned Poundland Duchess, hogtie and use the crop on her until she is within a breath of expiring. It was not HRH Princess Anne, Princess Royal whom the Sussexes implicated in their sit-down interview with Oprah on CBS.

Obviously, the Sussexes in their sit-down interview with Oprah on CBS were referring to a more senior-positioned royal than the Eurotrash bigot, HRH Princess Michael of Kent. This, of course, the Poundland Duchess knows but if you throw gasoline on HRH Princess Anne, Princess Royal’s statute and scream fire, the blind en masse will look and start claiming to see. It was the Cambridges; this was validated by the weak, oafish William outing himself by weakly protesting, “We are very much not a racist family!” Talking crap about ‘some people’ like taking offense at everything. Well guess what orangutan-mammoried one, Princess Eurotrash of Flat-Arsedom’s little blackamoor brooch incident, was not some dream of the Duchess of Sussex’s that she shared whilst in conversation with Oprah on CBS. It occurred, may I remind you, in December 2017 at HM The Queen’s Christmas lunch at Buckingham Palace. The blackaoor brooch was as racist as if Meghan were Jewish and HRH Princess Michael of Kent showed up being anti-Semitic and wore a swastika. Put that in your crackpipe, why don’t you?

The Poundland Duchess needs to get real and start writing truth rather than more of the same pulpable fare. Just look at the material on offer: paedophilia, adultery in Norfolk and lots more. Leave the Sussexes alone; these bigoted jackasses have no idea the incalculable damage they cost Britain LLP.

A true pity that Lily Safra pulped the wrong trifling drivel. That aside, sooner or later, you will bend down, pick your shadow up off the floor and crawl you and your Poundland strand-draped orangutan mammaries into your casket. In the age of mercantile excess, you and your throwaway dreck are precisely what are increasingly insufferable. I’ve a copy of Empress Bianca, on which I expect a damn good return. Go on, stop timewasting you casket fugitive and crawl the fuck in your casket. Pulp you!

Opening nights are always such fun… Tuesday night past, I was reminded of all the opening nights that I would attend with a slightly neurotic Merlin as some show or other that he had directed was being presented to the world… As ever, it was great to see my plus one, Lucian Mann-Chomedy as the ideal partner for these occasions. Always reserved, pleasant and just the right amount of chatter and wit.

Whilst Lucian enjoyed the pre-show lecture in the Four Seasons Centre Amphitheatre, I slipped next door into the warmth of the Sheraton Centre Hotel and warmed myself on a glass of sherry whilst finishing off 2018’s Scotiabank Giller Prize winner on my KOBO.

What an utterly stunning tour de force. It was a moment to reflect, this Black History Month on just where we blacks are in the scheme of things. God only knows, it has been bruising to watch Meghan, HRH Duchess of Sussex become the print media’s most reviled and hunted fugitive from justice of that most vile creature, the racial predator.

I was still smarting at the events of a week earlier during the winter season’s first major snowstorm. I had been recalling to friends how strange it now was, compared to my first winter in Canada. December 1, 1974 and it snowed that day more than 8 inches. Back then it generally was guaranteed to snow once if not twice weekly. Now at end of January, 2019 and we were finally having our first major snow. This was not like snow from years past… Now it was a dirty, sooty-looking hard mess that lingered, largely in part because the city has contracted out its snow removal services.

As there are no windows in my apartment – Sol’s too damn bright by far and besides, boarded up windows afford me more art-hanging space – I got down in the early afternoon that Monday with my bike, only to be met by falling snow and several accumulated inches. Back up I went, retired the trusty chrome steed and returned and hopped into a snazzy Audi A6 Uber ride with a Macedonian whose spirit was as smooth and elegant as matchingly was his car. The mood set the tone for my day. As I am known to work 16-hr days, I called another Uber at the end of gig one whilst hoping to get to gig 2 in good time. The snow was still coming down; it was also bitterly cold and windy.

When finally, Uber #2 arrived, cold and dark with icy pellets mixed in with the snow, the driver rolled down his passenger side window and declared, “Sorry Buddy but I am going to have to cancel this ride…” Already running late, with my wheeled suitcase at the ready, he edged along as I tried to open the door and raised his voice, his eyes almost feral-looking beneath his turbanned, narrow skull. “I said I am cancelling you. One: I never take people like you in my car. Two: you have a shitty rating… Sorry, not sorry. Fuck you Buddy.” With that, he stepped on the gas and I had to swiftly haul me and suitcase out of the way as the rear of his red older model car whose interior did have that blasted malodorous melange of curry, dirty armpit, dirty arse, smegma and whatever the fuck else that passes for immigrants of choice these days. Finally, after having struggled out onto a still-not-ploughed Bay Street, I managed to hail the fourth cab whose West African driver insisted that I call Uber and report him… Days later, I was afforded assurances that the racist Dravidian was no longer part of Uber’s fleet. Similarly, when calling a Beck Taxi with a fairly generic name as Arvin, on coming downstairs the Indo-Canadian drivers on several occasions as though staying on script would feign obsequiousness and state that they were deeply sorry but owing to a family emergency, they were having to take the cab out of service. No sooner than having refused me a ride, they would then be observed heading out to Wellesley, turning on their unoccupied light and picking up a fare off the road. As if the blasted motherfuck, the likes of your overbred arse invented Jazz.

Each and every time that one experiences racial animus, is preyed on racially, it always harks back to that first winter in Toronto. My best mate from two summers earlier, when I would come to Canada to visit with my dad during school break, had been sick. After Sunday church service at Knox Presbyterian at Harbord and Spadina before returning to our beautiful home at 122 Mortimer Avenue, I would visit – my dad and I – with Tommy who was holding up at Toronto Sick Kids Hospital on University Avenue. My father explained that Tommy was sick with the winter flu, which sometimes could last for months and well beyond winter. I was a scrawny little fourteen-year-old who looked like most ten-year-old Canadian kids as I crawled the halls at Harbord Collegiate where among my mostly Italian-Canadian chums was future lawyer, Rocco Galati. As Tommy, who was a couple of years older than me, had gladly shared books with me the two summers prior that I would take to Knox summer camp and read then have a good stroke off, lusting after my inamorato, Tommy, I readily agreed to do his newspaper route for him until he came home. My first Saturday, the cart was overflowing with the thick Toronto Star newspaper and there was a good foot of snow everywhere. It was hellish but for Tommy, I was game to go the distance – who knows what hot frottage, docking and more was in the offing for having done his route for him! When I got to the northeast corner of Floyd and Bater Avenues that first Saturday to collect the funds, the door opened to a woman whose response to me was the most hideous display of the displaced madness that is white bigotry. Screaming at the top of her lungs, the woman in her upper seventies, vituperatively cursed my black bugger arse off and laid down the law. Never again, “you dirty little nigger” was I to set foot on her verandah.., I was to put the paper between her screen and front doors, knock then return to the top of her steps and wait for her to pay the bill. That first Saturday, she ripped the paper from my hand, flung the money at me. She was terrifying, in her faded blue A-line dress, black spectacles that had those upturned pointed edges at the sides; she wore faux pearls. Most of all, she wore the most hideously terrifying eyes. I remember how much they looked like eyes of a rooster, especially so for being such puffy eyes. Like the evolved, winged and feathered reptilians that roosters are, her eyes truly did look not the least bit human. She was so consumed with racial animus that it was truly frightening. By the time I made it home, I found myself regurgitating. Thereafter, every Saturday, I would take my spot at the top of the steps and consistently she would hurl out pennies mostly at me rather than the verandah where that first winter I had to suffer the indignity of picking through inches of snow on the verandah, steps and lawn to collect my money. Naturally, without fail she called most Saturdays to the Toronto Star, complaining of either not having received her paper on time or that it was missing altogether. This would mean having to buy her a replacement at the corner store, take it and only to be fed on by the hideous-of-spirit racial predator. Like a true cockhound many an indignity I suffered in hopes of my spectacled, full-lipped and scholarly inamorato, Tommy hooking up with me for having been so loyal to him. The summer prior, I had ventured to the public pool on Broadview at Riverdale Park with him and a couple of others and thrilled beyond belief was I to spy his large pendulous balls and that hammer-headed girthsome salami that pummelled his bikinis. Indeed, for Tommy I would suffer much indignity. There was a low-rise apartment building at 1111 Broadview where on the ground floor, there was another predator, this one equally septuagenarian who lived alone, smoked incessantly and always answered the door in various stages of undress, mostly ever only wearing a soiled merino. He was always a generous tipper; a whole 2$ bill in 1974/75 was serious cash. Naturally, in the pre-Ciaslis epoch old anorexic, drunken paunched predator would sometimes tug on the old bulbous semi-flaccid/semi-tumescent, though, pendulous but perfectly useless appendage, trying to lure me in. Sitting there in all that squalor and acting as though he was sugar daddy material… indeed. He was always keen on trying to grab me when giving me the “tip” and I was ever sly and crafty enough to get away from him each time. He, too, lead me to regurgitate, which I had not done since age nine and suffering my first racial attack. Of course, to this day, neither academia nor medicine will concede that there is any such a thing as the racial predator and the effects it has on those preyed on – mostly blacks – and the psyche/mental illness of those who prey on others chiefly non-blacks in varying degrees of severity based on otherness.

Finally, the house lights went down and I was met by the whimsical vista of the COC’s production of W. A. Mozart’s glorious opera, Cosi Fan Tutte. Previously, I had caught productions of this Mozart gem in Chicago, Montréal and New York City. I was not expecting much at this rate. The Frida Kahlo connection was a bit of a stretch but the butterflies fast won me over.

From the moment that she stepped onto stage, my spirit soared aloft higher than Mozart’s glorious music to that point had spirited me. Never before had there been so captivating a Despina. My eyes teared up and I was ever on the cusp of explosive giggles. Then what made me truly come undone was the moment Tracy Dahl took to the stage as the notary… by now, I was losing tears and beginning to emit choked snorted chuckles. Each Saturday back in 1974/75 when doing Tommy’s newspaper route, I would end off taking the Saturday Star to Giovanna an octogenarian Italian, who was plump, charming and more adorable than any mere mortal ought to be. Soon, we were fast lovers and she loved fussing over me, baking me each Saturday nice, warm, oven-fresh biscotti washed down with a glass of ice-cold “gingah raleh”… her thick Italian accent was part of her charm. Hers was a large black and white cat, simply known as pussy gatto, who always sat nesting on the armchair. Each week, Giovanna sat transfixed as I read her the newspaper; her vision was to that point fairly deteriorated. As a way of better forging our bond and because most of my mates at Harbord were Italian, for three years, I studied Italian and that really impressed Giovanna, who was simply known as “Mama Mia.”

As the opera progressed, Ms. Dahl as the notary, dashed and took cover beneath the table at which point, I buried my face in the program with explosive laughter. Straight away, I was reminded of each Saturday when the ever silent pussy gatto would bolt from the armchair and take cover beneath the sofa where I sat as Giovanna began an explosion of long-winded farts. Even the singer’s voice sounded much like Giovanna’s as she sang the role of notary. Remarkably, it was as though she was channelling Giovanna. In that moment, I was healed of the bile, which the recent Uber incident had caused to surface, bile that dated as far back as 1974.

In the end, Tommy’s parents sold their house and it was not until a couple years later that I discovered from the neighbour next-door that Tommy, who had never returned to their Mortimer and Logan home, had died of Leukaemia. Indeed, the winter flu was my dad’s way of protecting me from the callousness of having to lose a friend so early in life.

Apart from the catharsis that Tracy Dahl’s performance personally effected, I don’t think that it would be biased of me to state that hers was the runaway performance in the COC’s fantastic, and fast-paced I might add, production of Cosi Fan Tutte.

You Are Not Alone.

Short and sweet, there is only one dream shared here of that day’s dreams.  At the time, it was Sunday, December 3, 1989, less than a month after Merlin’s passing.  Also at that time, the Moon transited both Aquarius and my ninth house.    

As Merlin was making the journey to becoming a fully realised astral plane habitué, for being task companions, many of my dreams were astral plane-focussed.  The dream involved interactions with extra-humans species that I had never before encountered. 

Dreams such as this one always make me grateful for being focussed here on this world.  Though it can at times be anything but civilised, it is still a remarkably beautiful world. 

The dreams that day were recorded on audio-cassette, twenty-eight and to be found in volume III of the dream opus.  As ever, sweet dreams and thank you for your ongoing support.

In this the first dream, I was in a far-off place; it was a strange land really.  Truth be told, this dream was focussed on another world.  I went to get on a streetcar/tram because I wanted to get home.  The tram eventually went and made a loop.

The tram here was more like the ones in Europe.  This was a dark, wet, cobblestone old street.  Almost with sentient ease, the tram had the capacity to bend; it was lifelike.

There had been a jerking motion as we moved along the tracks.  Next, I noticed that the tram did a most beautiful U-turn as though it were a snake turning back on itself.

Here, on this world, it was as though the physics gave things the ability to morph.  This was most unusual.  The manoeuvre, I might add, was carried out with the greatest ease.

The tram after having turned around then went back in the opposite direction.  We then crossed a river and were on another bank of the city.  I was now in a raised area and could look back at where we had been.  I was trying to make out on what street I had come along.

I had a companion with me who was talking; I really was not much focussed on my companion’s chatter.  This was a very densely populated area.  I can’t say that it looked like a European city but it was an aged place; yet, everything here was organic.

I then came into this large building and before going up the stairs of this dark, cavernous area, there were people who had come and moved in all-around us.

There were creatures, extra-humans, which were in helmet and combat gear.  I was then going up a gangplank which was like going onto a spaceship.  As a matter of fact, it actually was just that.

Even though these were helmets, they were as one would expect not synthetic but rather organic.  The helmets were almost as though the faces of the people.

In a strange way, they were almost like the many wonderful heads in Egyptian hieroglyphs.  Their helmeted faces were like those of the falcon-headed gods et cetera; they were like a mélange of humanoids, bird and animal forms.

There was one particular creature that was the actual colour black.  The extra-human’s skin seemed like a black body stocking.  This one was a Spiderman-like creature; however, the extra-human’s skin glowed and was black.  This extra-human being was quite a force and had great presence.

He had about his torso and on his back – I never did see his face because special care was taken so that I never saw his face, a soft, blue light aura.  The aura then collapsed in and became a hard blue tendril-like wing apparatus.  In point of fact, he had floated down through the air but the tendril-like appendages were not wings.

Again, this was another display of this world’s rather evolved technologies.  The interesting feature was that he was able to mentally make the aural light collapse; indeed, it was a form of technology which was controlled by the mind.  This light source was very thin and it also undulated.

The light underwent a transformation as he was gliding down to touchdown on the floor of this cavernous building; said building was, of course, the interior of a giant spacecraft.  The collapsed aural light became almost like a backpack which no longer glowed.  Too, the apparatus seemed like a soft metallic medium with some platinum and lapis lazuli hues to it.

The equipment had all the aerodynamic sleekness of something that was a mélange of Art Deco and, perhaps, the very futuristic features of a Porsche vehicle well into the next century.  The apparatus seemed like something that the creative genius, Erté would have designed.  The whole affair was very interesting indeed.

He was coming down to take care of me.  He was a guide and a guard for me and I knew it.  He was quite a force.  All the people gathered around down at the foot of the plank.  I went up into the upper chamber of this place and there were many people about.

Whilst onboard the giant spacecraft, I was helping to apply makeup around the eyes of a woman.  I had a strong sense that Maria di Caspieri was also about.  There were also other human-enough seeming people about; they were, however, extra-humans.  I was applying the makeup and showing them how to best do it.  I started paying more focussed attention to things as I worked.

Whilst all of this was going on, there was an ambush going down all-around us.  There were these enemy troops who were trying to come in and overwhelm us.  They were launching an ambush; they had come inside the giant spacecraft and had managed to trip the security system and make their way in.  Shortly, were about to take us as hostages.

I was at that point quite fearful because they did have the equivalent of weaponry; however, they never did use their weapons.  As they had to be very silent, they chose not to use their weapons.

They had come through an air duct system and had literally bled their way through the wall of the force field.  Not surprisingly, they had simply rendered themselves light and thereby moved through the force field.

This they had also quite skilfully done by jimmying the security system.  However, it was only a matter of time before they would be found out.  This, though, was a trap to try and capture my guide/guard; he was part of a whole legion of other beings who had been down below and looking out for us.

More than that, it was only a matter of time before these interlopers had been outsmarted and gotten rid of.  No one was hurt because there wasn’t any shooting.  They had mentally, by way of telepathy, overwhelmed the foes and tricked them into confusion once they had broken through the force field.

Thus, the interlopers were subdued and thereby any kind of physical struggle or combat was averted.  This was all done psychically, by telepathy, and I was telepathically aware of them doing this.  Even on me, at whom it was not directed, the power of their greater psychic abilities was certainly experienced as a paralyzing force.

This was a very definite, otherworldly dimensional dream experience.  Although I did not have the companionship of my wonderful friend and lover, Merlin, I was still not uncomfortable or out of place.  I felt a strong sense of security for having had my astral guide about.

Penetrating the Astral Veil.

The dream occurred, on Thursday, September 12, 1996, whilst the Moon transited both Virgo and my fourth house.

Definitely this dream, without a doubt, was set on the astral plane.  Whilst in a large house, Harella and Pandora were there.  It was night time out.  Pandora was aggressively trying to have a current lover marry her.  It struck me, in fact, as being a bit desperate.

I took my leave from the house going outside.  There, I squatted on a rock and then threw my right leg behind me.  The look and feel was very à la Martha Graham.

The rock was quite large.  In what seemed to be a park, lots of beautiful tall trees towered all around me.  Lots of large rocks were beautifully placed about the rambling grounds.

Whilst in the partially-open, Martha Graham fourth position, I did lyrical port de bras with the right leg extended in the rear.  Lunging forwards, as though I were rubber-backed, I then reached backwards with my head almost resting on the rear leg.

In the front, the rock sloped down before me.  As a result, this did not give my front leg much purchase.  Once, whilst in the midst of another port de bras en dehors, I had lost my footing and began slipping forward down the rock.

For feeling as elevated of spirit as I was, I simply pushed off the rock and took my lyricism to its higher octave.  I was flying!  Knowing full well that I was on the astral plane, there could have been no better celebration than this.

Though low-level flight, it was still the same sweet languorous movement as when enjoying the port de bras.  On swooping down out of the air, I flew mere inches off the verdant zingy grass.

Reaching upwards, I brought my arms up in an opening fifth position which then splayed outwards to second position.  This swept my body upwards as my arms were stretched out, much like wings, with the wrists splayed back a bit to the rear.

This, of course, created greater aerodynamic ease as well as exquisite aesthetics.  Legs together, feet perfectly pointed, I moved through the air like some glorious dragonfly in flight.

More than that, I had a sense of being an exotic bird of paradise with a long tail.  Immediately, this brought back images of my first flying dream set in that Amazon aviary in October 1966 – whilst I effortlessly fell from imaginings into lucid dreaming when ensconced in the favourite forking branch of the genip tree, my familiar, in Crab Hill, Sandy Point, St. Kitts.

Whilst staying in that position, I was able to effortlessly fly.  From time to time, I flapped my arms much like a crane’s majestic wings.  Swooping around to the left, I flew in an arc, returning to where I had taken off.

Considerably higher in the air, at this point, I could see the rock way below.  The rock was beautiful with an intense vibration.  The trees below formed a grid of vibrant, powerful negative-ioned energies.

I could readily discern the wind currents based, in fact, on the way the crowns of the trees were being swept about.  The majestic trees lyrically swayed with abandon.

Swooping further down, I flew down into the valley beyond the rock.  By simply arching my back, I was able to soar back up into the air.

My head I arched upwards and back to the right, in a flying port de bras, which took me higher and to the right.  This was the most gloriously liberating experience imaginable.

To help with the lift, I raised the left arm a bit.  This further took the body, up and around, in a sweeping arch.  Greatly inspired, I droned, besotted by the magic I creatively weaved,

“This is so abso-fucking-god-damn-assed-lutely beautiful…”

With that, I roared with laughter enjoying the abandon of spirit that I felt.  Though not as if in slow-motion, my flight was rather slow.  My movements were birdlike and possessed of a gracefulness that was truly rare.

Unlike that initial flying dream, set in the Amazon aviary in October 1966, there were no birds about to have inspired my splendid unfoldment of spirit – but it sure was sublime.

The trees looked not unlike American elm trees rather than evergreens local to the Canadian West Coast.  There were, in fact, no evergreens anywhere to be seen.

Flying away, I swooped up again.  Now I was soaring even higher.  At that, I then dove down, with swift precision that took me below the crowns of the trees.  Now I was about forty feet off the ground.

At this level, I went flying into the thick cover of the stand of trees that stood closest to the rock on which it had all started.  Most of the treetops were higher than I was at this point.

Whilst I flew, I simultaneously became aware of both my sleeping body and my further expanded, awakened consciousness.  At this point, extrasensory perception ascended to a higher octave and extended the limits of the already expansive experience.

fpDream one.  Simultaneously, I was lying in the house with Harella and Pandora.  We were on the bed in the girls’ bedroom in the Crab Hill, Sandy Point, St. Kitts house.

Again, as I lay there, I was immediately reminded of the experiences on Boxing Day, 1972.  Once more, I felt as dissociative as when having the OBE: out-of-body experience, into the massive greenhouse of my genip tree familiar.

As I laid there on the bed, it seemed as if my feet were placed higher than my head.  I was, however, not overly concerned.  Pandora, much as she had on Boxing Day ’72, entered the room walking past me.

She looked at me because I laid there loudly snoring which, in the dreamtime, was strange.  I decided against awakening as I did not want to have to interrupt my parallel dreaming wherein I was blissing out whilst in flight.

I had no intentions of focussing on my snoring for it just might have awakened me.  I assured myself that it was okay to be snoring; it did not mean that I was in any danger.

At that point, I knew that I was definitely astral projecting.  When I became refocussed in the snoring body, I then recalled my astral self.  It was a true joy to feel my body fidget as my astral self resettled into its familiar berth.

Feeling confident and cocky, I decided to have another stab at astral projecting.  I wanted to fly… to soar again.  Being liberated was much too wonderful to have not further explored.

Keenly focussed, I again began astral projecting.  This time, as I began the cicada-like process of leaving the shell of my sleeping, still snoring body, I looked down at my body.

To my amazement I saw the astral self’s cord.  It looked as if an illumined string of dental floss.  However, this was a bit thicker.  It was actually a series of beads that were as if strung together by an intense, though soft, white light – a most luminously nacreous string of tiny, light-emanating pearls.

The cord was attached to the body between the belly button and the solar plexus chakras.  That part of my body felt expanded and wide-open.  On both bodies, the cord was attached at the same points.

I chose not to focus overlong on the deeply somnambulant body below me on the bed.

Dream onex.  Tumbling over on myself, I was now flying on my back.  Slowly flying through the house, I was – for astral projecting – able to know what was coming up ahead.

Here, in this expansive state, my spatial awareness was much enhanced.  I moved headfirst and not feet-first.  Moving through the house, I headed towards the kitchen knowing that Harella was there cooking.

On entering, Harella turned around and looked up at me as I slowly flew through the room over her head.  Surprised at the sight of me she said in a thick Nevisian accent,

“Buh aryu looka trouble ya t’nite.  Boyh ah weh y’ar go so?”

I paid her no mind and pretended to be asleep – I was after all lying on my back.  The sink was by a large window that was framed by natural, exposed wooden beams.

Harella, however, was not standing by the sink.  There were a few flowers on the windowsill.  On moving towards the pane of glass, I told myself not to worry about striking it.

With that I began increasing my vibration such that my projected astral self became a body of intense white light.  Effortlessly, at the same rate of slow flight, I travelled through the thick pane of glass.

Thrilled at my accomplishment, I devilishly laughed enjoying myself.  This was just as thrilling as that sublime dream encounter with Merlin, when he passed me the Sunday New York Times whilst at a café, where we had sat at a deuce having brunch on a glorious, sunny Sunday morning.

*That particular dream was had, on Wednesday, December 1, 1993.  END.

With that, I was outside in the dark whilst still in flight.  The window looked out to a ravine way below.  The drop below was considerable, with me in flight, high above the valley way below.

Adjusting, I tumbled over onto my stomach in order that I might meet the demands of flight at such heights.

Using sweeping motions of the arms, again much like a bird, I began flying.  Such utter abandon it was, too.  I was so pleased that I had decided to leave my body and have another round of astral projection.

I flew as if a bird of prey and the feeling was positively delightful.  After awhile, I returned indoors but soon enough decided to again go outdoors.  All I wanted to do, once more, was to pass through the thick pane of glass in the kitchen.

Again, I upped my vibrational frequency and allowed my body to effortlessly move through the thick pane of glass.  It was as though I were passing through the Chinese glass-beaded curtain, that Merlin so loved, which hung in the door to our 20 Amelia Street, Cabbagetown Toronto home’s bedroom.  Once again, I was flying facedown above the ravine.

With great speeds, I began flying; this time swooping down lower into the depths of the ravine, I further explored whilst in flight.  The thrill of speeding past the vibration of the treetops below me was exhilarating.

*It had much the same effect as, when joining Merlin on that magic carpet-like transport, in the august dreams of July 9, 1993.  END.

Soon, I arrived at a village which seemed as if somewhere in Africa.  Since I knew that I definitely was on the astral plane, I sought to explore the environs by alighting in the middle of a narrow street.

Straight away, I kept up a leisurely pace when moving through the village and drinking in everything about me.  There was a lot of lush vegetation, all around, wherever you looked.

As I came on a bend in the earthen street, it was nighttime here.  There I saw some of the villagers in the most colourful African costumes imaginable.  These were the most exquisitely dark-skinned Blacks that I had ever seen.

Yet, there was something about these Blacks that was different to their waking-state human counterparts.  They were so very exciting to be around that they simply radiated life and light energies itself.

I was thrilled to have encountered them.  They were playing the music which so richly informed my childhood.  This was the music of ‘Sports’ and foreday morning at Christmas time whilst growing up in Sandy Point, St. Kitts.

One of the instruments that they played was heavy-looking brass cymbals.  They banged them with great gusto.  As well, there were myriad drums on which they beat a frenzy that was truly admirable.

This was truly the most frig-all glorious music heard in too long.  There was no other way to have responded to this music than to have danced.  Here I moved as if truly possessed.

As though alighting into my body to vicariously experience the joy of being ensouled in a body anew, I truly felt that I was being channelled by a host of spirits.

Indeed, my very soul itself was moving in on the cicada-like shell of my projected astral self.  I threw my head back and howled with delight at being so richly empowered.

For the most part, these regal Blacks seemed to be troubadours who were part of a travelling circus.  There were jugglers and acrobats.  The cymbal players were low to the ground and in back of them were the drummers, on a float, where they were some four levels high.

They were quite a sight to see.  Yet, I still couldn’t quite fathom what it was about them that proved somewhat slightly different.  Then when one of the cymbal players took off his instrument, I noticed that their arms were differently proportioned to humans’.

Basically, there were less than three inches between their elbows and their wrists.  The distance from the elbows to the shoulders was the same as for a human from wrist to shoulder.  Indeed, we were clearly not in Kansas anymore…

This was a very energetic, high-frequencied race of Blacks.  Though small in stature, they were not pygmies.  However, goodness, this race of Blacks had such incredible presence to them.

Theirs were the most beautiful smiling eyes imaginable.  The closest one could think of is the beauty of the eyes of Blacks from Fiji – whom racially obsessed foreigners would like to believe are not Black.  Absurd!

For not having been enslaved and subjected to the prevailing Western, absurdist, racially predatory animus, Fijians are a people whose spirits were not broken.  These astral beings were a wonderful people whose spirit had not similarly been broken.

These astral plane Blacks were a people possessed of the most beautiful-sounding laughter.  It simply tickled the soul to hear these people laugh.  These people were very serious about their music; it was on the order of high spiritual contemplation.

At one point, they arrived at a spot where they set up what looked like a drum that was made from metal.  Cone-shaped, it looked like an oversized toy top with four layers of circular steel which were separated by two or three inches.

Naturally, the smallest circle of steel was at the narrow bottom of the instrument.  Once set up, they began directing energy from the other drums which conversely caused the large metallic drum to spin.

As the top-like drum spun, the winds passing through it created a sound that was akin to an engine with a high-pitched whir.  As the sound progressed, the pitch kept on rising higher and higher whilst soaring to stratospheric octaves.

I was about to take my leave of them, on discovering their outré-proportioned bodies, when the sound of the set-up drum pierced through me.  So, with that, I turned around and headed back to investigate their ritual.

There, on the street, I saw the halved corpse of a White male.  Dark-haired and square-jawed, he was not remotely familiar.  I then noticed that, as he lay there, there were tiny lights along his jaw line.

So right away, I realised that he was an automaton and not someone who had been killed in a freakish accident.  I couldn’t quite figure out what was going on here.  I thought, perhaps, that this was some sort of strange, astral plane voodoo doll.

Of course, it more than likely wasn’t.  Obviously, they were engaged in some form of channelling and these accoutrements were what they used.  Thus they were able to affect communication with other planes and dimensions.

Now the musicians came off their float and formed a circle about the whirring, rotating metallic drum.  There, they beat a frenzy like there was no tomorrow.  Still, their playing could not drown out the high-pitched whir of the massive drum-like instrument.

It seemed as though their playing aided it to soar to even high planes of intensity than before.  I couldn’t believe that such sounds were possible.  However, its intense pitch was clearly able to affect the manifestation of something or other.

At this point, the rest of the villagers began flocking to the centre of the village.  They gathered about the circle of drummers as they ecstatically performed.  In a bid to get a good view of things, as events unfolded in their village, they were excitedly rushing in.

They struck me as being on the verge of expecting something momentous.  They were familiar with this ritual; it would seem that this had something to do with death.  This process revealed who had recently died or, more to the point, who was about to die.

Many of the villagers, who had rushed in, were villagers from Crab Hill, Sandy Point, St. Kitts.  Among them, I saw Maudie Hazel and several others from my childhood who looked much as they did then.

I figured too that most of these persons had already passed on in the waking state and, therefore, were currently astral plane habitués.  As someone from Sandy Point was about to die, this ritual was being carried out.

Here on the astral plane, this was how the announcement of an arrival was made.  Thus the predeceased would rush in, as it were, to find out who was about to crossover.

Too, they were there to serve as a welcome committee and help the newly returned habitués become adjusted.  Obviously, for some, there needed to be some getting used to being dead and returned to the astral plane.  The mood here was incredibly celebratory.

The new habitué was thrown an energetic party where the music was that of the most glorious time in the village – Jouvé morning.  Many were quite eager to meet old friends and get them oriented to their new realm of beingness.  It was all great fun.

What was a big item here was that the predeceased villagers were always eager to let the newcomers know who had killed whom, in some unsolved and highly-suspect, mysterious death or murder.

It was so akin to the richness of emotionality which village life in Crab Hill had been during my childhood.  It was great to be here.

Maudie Hazel was a real noisy, gossiping firebrand.  She wore a soiled white frock; it looked as if it had been her favourite, for years on end, when she was alive.

Looking as though she hadn’t done anything as momentous as died and left Crab Hill, her head was tied up in a kerchief.  She stood to my immediate left.

To have looked across to her strong warrior-spirited face caused me to well up with loving pride and laughter.  This woman was so lived-in and soulful that it nourished the very soul to have seen her – again.

Eventually, the steel drum came to a rousing climax.  At that, one heard a voice that sounded like a recording.  It was the voice of someone on their deathbed, giving their last words as they bade farewell to the world, before shutting down a life.

However, this was a recording that the person had made knowing that they were going to die soon.  To my way of thinking, it was clearly a suicide.  There was no mistaking the fact that it was David Templeman.

His voice was not unlike that of Pericles da Braga’s.  A very articulate and erudite register it was.  At the end of his speech, there was a succession of long, weary-sounding breaths which was customary of someone taking their last breaths before dying.

For all gathered, this was the most beautiful sound; they hung on to it and drew on heavy breaths themselves.  They were just as celebratory as if they were persons attending a birth – which, in essence, it was.  A rebirth it was, too, back to being an astral plane habitué.

By their pleasurable expressions, they were validating that it was death.  The return to the astral plane was a labour of sorts; it was being facilitated by others who had headed out on the journey earlier.

This, indeed, was quite the revolutionary discovery.  Needless to say, this left me wondering what exactly I was doing there.  There were no doubts in my mind that I had stumbled onto the astral plane.

These villagers were distinctly African in nature, even those who were familiar to me as being born in both St. Kitts and Nevis and whom I knew when growing up in Crab Hill.

Some were exceptionally long-limbed but possessed that unusual arrangement to their limbs that was decidedly not earthly human.  Long-legged too, they were all long-torsoed.  Their torsos were so long that they seemed as if possessed of more vertebrae than humans.

These people could dance with an electrifying magic that could, any day of the week, dance circles around Michael Jackson.  It was quite something to see this group of Blacks in another dimension.  Theirs was a very vibrant culture.

More than that, I was really keen to learn exactly how David Templeman had died or how he was going to die.  Either way, this ritual presaged his arrival onto the astral plane as arrivée, astral plane habitué.

The halved corpse that lay on the ground, which was clearly an automaton, was the channel that brought through the voice of David Templeman as he passed on.

There was a bit of chatter as a few astral plane habitués, who had lived in Crab Hill, were discussing exactly who David Templeman was.  It seemed that someone had not remembered who David was as the astral plane habitué had moved to America decades earlier.

Many of these Sandy Pointers, I did not myself recognise.  This I think was due to the fact that they had died when I was a child or long before I had even moved to St. Kitts from Nevis.

I must say that it was really good to have been around them.  It was all very interesting and made me feel as though I was in St. Kitts.  A thoroughly pleasurable interlude this was for me.
